The Burnt Chef Project
I was asked to create a bespoke piece focussing on mental health within the hospitality sector. This was performed at the Burnt Chef projects annual Gala dinner at Bournemouth stadium in November. In this performance piece I wanted to take the audience on a journey, looking behind the kitchen doors and into the minds of people within the industry. I used a fast-paced rhyme scheme to highlight the busyness of this sector- but slowing this down towards the end of the piece reflecting the change in attitude towards mental health and how organisations like the Burnt chef project are the catalyst for this change.
